INFORMATION WE SHARE WITHIN BANKFIRST
At our discretion we may communicate information solely about our transactions or experiences with you to persons related to us by common ownership or affiliated by corporate control. We may also, at our discretion, communicate other information to these same persons, unless you direct us in writing to not exchange this information. If you do not want us to share information with our affiliates other than information about our transactions and our experiences with you, you may direct us not to make those disclosures by filling out the enclosed opt-out form and returning it to us.
LIMITATION OF EMPLOYEE ACCESS
BankFirst Financial Services employees have access to customers' information only for valid business reasons. BankFirst discusses with all employees the importance of maintaining confidentiality of any and all customer records. The privacy of customer information is stressed and a privacy acknowledgment is signed by all employees. Employees are informed that should this policy be violated, appropriate disciplinary measures will be taken.
BANKFIRST FINANCIAL SERVICES POLICIES AND PRACTICES WITH RESPECT TO PROTECTING CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY OF NONPUBLIC PERSONAL INFORMATION
It is the policy of BankFirst Financial Services to assure that the information it has about its customers is accurate. It is common practice for financial institutions to share information about customer accounts with consumer reporting agencies. However, if you believe some of the information we have shared or may share is in error, please let us know by writing to: BankFirst Financial Services, P. O. Box 31, Macon, MS 39341. Simply give us your name, current address, phone number and social security number. You will also need to include your account number and the specific item in dispute, along with the reason you believe this information has been reported in error. We will do our best to correct any situation to your satisfaction. It is also the policy of BankFirst that information it has about its customers is highly confidential and should only be available to persons who have a need for the information to properly service a customer's account, act upon a customer's request or to fulfill that person's job responsibility. We maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal standards to guard your nonpublic personal information.
AVAILABILITY
This privacy policy will be made available at all banking locations for distribution to bank customers upon their request, and will be provided at the time of establishment of the customer relationship, and annually thereafter. This policy will also be made available to consumers who may not be customers at the time of application but from which information may be disclosed to a third party.
AFFILIATE INFORMATION SHARING OPT OUT
We may share information regarding our transactions and experiences with you to our affiliates. We may also share other information with our affiliates unless you direct us not to.
